What is money? People say it's just a piece of paper or figures in the bank. Does anyone think that these pieces of paper will decompose? Or figures of the bank will demolish? Then what left behind, just you! And What happened to you? You will be bury after death, and your body will decompose.

I think most of the people out there are familiar with this reality. Then why do people snatch a piece of bread from the poor? Why do they seize their charter? And feeding their children with that money; What will be the future of these children?. Several questions with a bewildered look, but you will get all the answers after reading the whole article.

Dr. Amjad was the owner of the Eden Housing Scheme. He was the son of Deputy Commissioner and son-in-law of IG Punjab. God blessed him with all His blessings, but infamousness was in his fate. Firstly he scammed the 13 thousands member of the Eden Housing Scheme and devoured ten billion rupees. Then, In the era of the Pakistan People Party (PPP), he did another scam. The Chairman of EOBI and Dr. Amjad did corruption of Rs2bn, and both split the whole amount. People who were affected by this scam started protests. Iftikhar M Chaudhary was the Chief Justice at that time. He took the sou-moto and hearings were held. At that time, a lawyer of Lahore arranged a meeting between Chief Justice and the criminal. That meeting turns into a family relation, son of Dr. Amjad, Murtaza Amjad married the daughter of Iftikhar M Chaudhary, Ifrah Iftikhar. And both the cases were abandoned by that business deal. Sorry to say, but nowadays, marriages are portrayed as business deals; rather than new family terms.

Well, the time changes. NAB started lawsuits against them, and they all had fled away from Pakistan. NAB issued Red-warrant. On 26 September 2018, FIA arrested Murtaza Amjad from Dubai. Iftikhar M Chaudhary tried his best, and the judge canceled the red warrant and marked it illegal. The whole family in the case had managed to fly to Canada in 2018 after the Interior Ministry did not place their names on the Exit Control List despite a NAB request. Although lawsuits were in their process and the influence of Iftikhar M Chaudhary saved Dr. Amjad.

In June 2021, Dr. Amjad came back to Pakistan for plea bargaining with NAB. After securing a protective bail, Dr. Amjad held a meeting with the NAB Lahore and sought a plea bargain worth Rs9bn. The NAB rejected his request and asked him to pay at least Rs16bn. At that instant, he became ill and died on 23 August 2021. The family wanted to perform the funeral secretly. However, scam-affected people knew about his death. They came and started protesting in front of his house. His funeral ceremony was held under the supervision of the Police. The protestor's slogan was "Give our money back."

It's been ten days since this incident happened. Every day the protestors came to his grave and started yelling about him. It's an example to those who are in the intoxication of wealth. Who thinks that we have to enjoy the present moment by seizing someone's land, money, or trust. Who thinks it's the long-lasting life and no one tastes the death. Those who didn't have any fear of God in their heart.

Why Dr. Amjad did this grabbing of land and money? For the betterment of his family's future. I think that's the genuine answer to this question. And what his family did to him for whom he made his world and life after death at risk. No one from his family came back to Pakistan from Canada to attend his funeral.

And In the end, good news for the affected people. NAB seized all the property of Eden Garden Housing Limited. It's worth more than Rs15bn. NAB announced that it would start compensating the affected people.

Today before going to bed, go back to your past and think. Think that if you had done any scam to anyone, It's time to compensate for that scam. Otherwise, your future will be full of surprises.
