Corruption

It was June 1997 India need 50 billion rupees to stable its economy position. Parliament held a meeting regarding this issue. Everyone is giving suggestions to PM on how to resolve this issue, at the same time Indian finance minister B.chand stands up and asks for permission from PM and wants to share something with his colleagues. He said if I give you one idea from which government gets money, and we don’t have to return it. Everyone said, “yes tell us.” He said, “according to my study right now in India there is Five trillion black money, no one used it even government can’t, if we make such scheme from which we declare these five trillion as white money from this we will get two benefits, first-one that government will get a tax of 4000 crore dollars to 7000 crore dollars and the second-one is One trillion 23 crores 33 lac rupees come out from secret accounts and this money will start circulation in the whole world. Now the point is how to implement it so if Today, we announce it that if someone had black money and he or she get a chance to make it white money only by depositing 30% to the government accounts, and we set a deadline of 31 December 1997. After that, if someone caught with black money the government will be take action against that person. Meeting ended and “voluntary disclosure of income scheme” announced after its announcement a big amount of recovery seen by the government till three Jan 1998 70 billion rupees are in the government accounts.
Now, on the other hand, we see Pakistani bureaucrat behaviors.

I just give you an example of one officer of 22nd grade. In 1996 an officer came to the office of national saving where he asks that he had some “National Saving Certificates” (it’s like prize bonds). He wants to change these. Chairman of National sSaving gave these certificates to his secretary for changing, after a few minutes cashier came with money and when this officer count he said it’s too less. He said with respect sir, there is a wealth tax on (NDSC). After listening to that statement he became angry and said return my certificates. I don’t want to change these right now. After a few hours, that same officer comes in office with a letter on which there is a stamp of the central board of revenue, and also order on 30/92, and under all these stamps, there are instructions for “National Saving” chairman that all those certificates on which there was a wealth tax, there will be no more tax on these certificates. After this chairman called the cashier and gave cash to that officer. When the chairman see off that officer his clerk gave him a report after saw that report chairman came in tension, the clerk said, “sir what happened.” He said, “Only for few rupees, and only in 50 seconds that officer gave damage to Nation of 83 crores 63 lac 22 thousand 13 rupees and it will become in trillion in next few months.”

A Letter From Stranger

In the past few months, you have been listening to a lot of news but, something really shocking happened last week, a woman dispatched a letter to the Chief Minister of Sindh. She wrote down different details in that letter about her husband. Her husband was extremely sick; he did dialysis three times a week. Monthly 0.175 million spend on his treatment. Her two daughters afford these expenses but, now they can't afford them. I request that you please make the proper arrangements for my husband's medical expenses. She also wrote that my husband lives in the house that was given to me by my mother. It's an ordinary letter. Daily a lot of people wrote such letters to CM and request help. However, that was not a usual letter. That letter was written, by the Daughter-in-law, of Liaquat Ali Khan. The first Prime Minister of Pakistan. Her husband is the son of Liaquat Ali Khan named Akbar Ali Khan. Let's first talk about Liaquat Ali Khan. Few people know that Liaquat Ali ...

Is Pakistan Air Force reviving?

I want to write on this topic from last few days. However, I cannot due to some busy schedule. As you have seen the title, you have a hunch on it about the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Let me start by telling you one story. Few days ago, I met my friend. He is working on one of the PAF projects, and he revealed to me a shocking fact. He said that we build our first radar. I asked him with a bewildered look on my face that, "PAF didn't make radars on their own?". He said, "No, PAF buys radars from foreign countries: Germany and China." That news made me exhilarated, and I hope you will be feeling happy after knowing about it. Day by Day, Pakistan is on its way towards self-development. My friend told me about some previous scenarios. He said, "In retrospect, we had to pay a major amount for the acquisition of a single radar." We would wait for months if we had to deal with a problem or to add a new feature. We also had to pay extra money for that new featu...

Wonder Girl of India

Janhavi Panwar was born on November 8, 2003, in village Shahrmalpur, Tehsil Samalkha, District Panipat. Her father was a farmer, family spoke in a Haryana accent. It's a bit of a hoiden accent, Janhavi brought up in that accent. She is pure Haryanvi, black skin color and small height. Her life changed just because of little sarcasm. She has one skill that she do a parody of anyone by copying the accent. One day she was watching a show on TV in English. She liked the tone of an anchor, copied his accent, and started speaking English even she don't know anything about English.    In school, home, and town, she spoke English in the tone of that anchor. One of her relatives said, "what are you doing? Do you want to become a British? Stop it, stop that nonsense." From that, she decided why not, I learn English and just spoke like British people accurately. She got the tape recorder of his father, switch to the BBC channel, started learning English in a British accent. Ju...

Pakistan, TTP and Afghanistan

Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef is an Afghan diplomat who was the Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan before the US invasion of Afghanistan. Mullah Zaeef had the immunity as an ambassador; that's why America was unable to detain him. America handed over this task to General Pervez Musharraf. Riaz Muhammad Khan was the Representative of the Foreign Office at that time. He took a stand against that order; his motive was that Ambassadors have immunity in wars then: Why do we have to arrest him? Secondly, he said that we confront two outcomes from that step: we lost Afghanistan and the world trust. After that step, Not a single country in the world sends its Ambassadors to Pakistan. If the Taliban comes again in power, how will we face him? Riaz gave a piece of advice to Musharraf that we inform the Ambassador about the current situation, and he comfortably flew from Pakistan. General Musharraf didn't accept his advice and ordered to arrest the Afghan Ambassador.  Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef write...

An Art of Gratitude!

Captain Charlie Plumb was an American Pilot. In 1960, he was posted in Vietnam. Charlie did 74 successful air missions and became the icon of the American Air force. After completing his 74 missions successfully, he applied for leave. Higher management accepted his leave application. Only five days before departure to home. One of his senior officers sent him to his last mission. He packed his luggage, attended his farewell meetings, and his family was waiting for him in America. By the rule of law, he was off on duty. But due to the pressure of his seniors, he accepted the request for the 75th operation. His plane F-4 Phantom was ready to take off when he steered his jet towards the runway. He saw a man who was running towards him and stopping him by raising both hands. Charlie stopped his plane, and that person said to him that there is no parachute in your jet. I brought a parachute for you. Charlie first ignored him, but on his regular request, he loaded it. As usual, he take ...

Saviour Of The Nation

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan's family shifted from Bhopal to Pakistan. He got his early education in Pakistan. In 1967, he did a Master's in Metallurgy from Holland, and In 1972, he did Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from Belgium. Learning new languages is the passion he learned: Urdu, Farsi, German, French, and English. He started his career at Physical Dynamics Research Laboratory in Amsterdam. His memory was bombastically extraordinary. He stored all the nuclear secrets in his mind like photographic scenery. In 1974, he met Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and started working on the Nuclear Plant in Pakistan. Seith Abid is also another important character in the story. He supplied different spare parts of the material to Dr. AQK. In 1998, when the testing was under process, he was ignored by the present government. He was the founder of that project. On 10 Oct 2021, he died in Islamabad. Just have a look at the naive behavior of our nation. President, Prime Minister, Armed Forces Chiefs non...
