In 1931 Allama Iqbal went to London for attending the second round table conference. During the conference Amarbanito Mussolini from Italy invited Allama Iqbal to Rome. Allama Iqbal accepted that invitation and went to Rome in the third week of November. On 27 Nov 1931, they both met in Rome. They did a lot of discussion on European culture. At the end of the discussion, Mussolini asked Allama Iqbal that tells me the hadees of Hazrat Muhammad SAW which is new and stunning for me. Allama Iqbal smiled and told him, Hazrat Muhammad SAW said “Don’t extend the population of a city, when a city is diversifying then built a new city”. Mussolini said, “what’s the wisdom in this?” Iqbal said “if the population exceeds from the limit, then the economic power in the city becomes weak.
